Perth BBQ School was established by Gusface Grillah who currently runs all of the classes within the School.
We have our main class that runs all year round as well as specific masterclasses, corporate events and more on the way.
This class was born out of our Weber Kettle Basics, our very first class. The class is aimed at introducing people to the world of charcoal and wood fuelled barbecue as well as expanding the skillset of those already on their journey.
We use the iconic Weber Kettle as well as bullet smokers to show you how easy it is to get started with inexpensive, readily available equipment.
You will also be able to adapt recipes and methods to your gas barbecue or chosen cooking method at home.
Techniques we cover include grilling, smoking, reverse searing, brining and more. We show you how to set up and manage fuel so that you can master any charcoal barbecue.
Dishes include the ultimate burger, pulled pork, beef short ribs, smoked chicken breast and more.
We provide you with a whole lot of delicious food, craft beers and a goodie bag to take home.
Combined with an intimate class size of 20 people we think this makes it the best value cooking class in town.
Whether you're just starting out or have experience cooking with charcoal you will have a great time learning, eating tasty food and washing it down with some refreshing ales.

We have done a number of private and corporate classes for companies looking to put on an event for their employees or clients that's a bit more entertaining than some of the tired old golf days and corporate boxes.
We can run our core charcoal fundamentals class or tailor an event to suit your requirements.
We have also started rolling out masterclasses on specific topics such as our Brisket Masterclass featuring Big Don.
Later this year we are planning to launch our Seafood Barbecue Masterclass.
In addition to this we run a 2.0 Class covering even more techniques, types of barbecues and explore different cultures and their approach to barbecue. These are typically offered to our class alumni only.
